Who Is This Course For?

The NVQ level 6 construction site management course is specifically designed for workers who are managing a site. In order to take the NVQ level 6 you must have the skills and knowledge to do so. Also you will be mostly site office based and in charge of various different aspects of site including – Toolbox Talks, Inductions, chairing meetings and Personnel Management. You should have a large responsibility for Health and safety.

Online NVQ level 6 Construction Site Management Course – How It Works

The online assessor will observe work you have uploaded through the Quals portal whether that be videos, witness statements, professional discussions or documents, gathering evidence of your competence. You will also need to complete some written NVQ Level 6 questions; you can download them once you have purchased the course.

There is an option to answer the questions verbally that can be purchased on the next page.

In total there are 8 units that need to be met and completed. In total There are 4 Mandatory units and 4 Optional units. Please see the list below for all units:-

NVQ Level 6 Mandatory – All 4 units

• Plan, allocate and monitor work in own area of responsibility.
• Maintain health, safety and welfare system in construction contracting operations management.
• Develop and maintain working relationships and personal development in construction contracting operations management.

NVQ Level 6 Optional – Choose 4 units

• Specify and control production documents in construction contracting operations management.

On payment you will receive:

• An induction and welcome pack together with a link to an induction checklist and skills scan (this is to be completed before contact with the assessor).
• A log in to Drop Box – this will be used for you to collect evidence throughout the course. It will also contain your NVQ questions.

Your assessor will:

• Contact you within 3 working days once we have received your induction checklist.
• Conduct at periodic reviews of your evidence you have submitted online and advise you on your progress. They will keep in touch throughout the whole process. They may or may not visit you on-site. As this is a NVQ Level 6 it is expected that you should be collecting the majority of the evidence with the assessor guiding you through the process.
